When an official Fan Festival closes, the crowd does not disappear.
It relocates.
Fans move toward bars, restaurants, hotel lobbies, sidewalks, covered entrances, transit corners, parking lots, and any space that still has screens, shelter, or social energy.
From a security perspective, this creates a problem that is fundamentally different from managing a fenced stadium zone.
There is no perimeter anymore.
There is no controlled gate system.
There is no fixed security map.
There is only movement.

My job used to be simple when crowds were centralized in official fan zones.

It is visibility.
Drone monitoring in these environments is significantly more complex than in structured venues.
In stadium zones, airspace boundaries are clear.
In open city environments, they are not.
A drone may pass through multiple informal crowd clusters without ever entering a defined restricted area, yet still create operational risk.
