DJI Matrice 350 RTK is an adaptable enterprise drone for inspection, mapping and emergency-response teams. RTK positioning, interchangeable payload support and an outdoor-ready aircraft give operators a platform they can configure for different missions.
Rated flight time reaches 55 minutes when flying without a payload at approximately 8m/s in windless conditions, with the battery run down to 0%. This is a test maximum; mission duration changes with the payload, environment and flight mode.
The aircraft has an IP55 rating and an operating temperature range of -20°C to 50°C. Protection can decline with wear. Six-direction vision and infrared sensing assist positioning and obstacle detection, while the night-vision FPV camera helps pilots view their surroundings in low light. Sensing has blind areas and depends on lighting, surfaces and obstacle characteristics.
DJI O3 Enterprise Transmission links the aircraft with the included DJI RC Plus controller. Its 7.02-inch, 1920×1200 touchscreen reaches up to 1200 nits, and the controller carries an IP54 rating. Using its internal battery together with the WB37 external battery provides approximately six hours of operating time.
RTK correction data can come from a compatible D-RTK 2 Mobile Station or a custom NTRIP network service through DJI Pilot 2. A base station is not included in these combos.
The platform supports up to 2.7kg of payload, subject to the limits of the selected mounting configuration. With the appropriate connectors, operators can combine dual downward gimbals and one upward gimbal for up to three payloads. Compatible options include Zenmuse H30/H30T, H20/H20T, H20N, L2, L1 and P1, plus certified DJI Payload SDK payloads.
Zenmuse cameras and other mission payloads are sold separately. Some gallery images illustrate optional payload configurations; these cameras and sensors are not included in either aircraft combo.
Both packages contain the aircraft, DJI RC Plus, one WB37 Intelligent Battery, two TB65 Intelligent Flight Batteries, a BS65 Intelligent Battery Station, carrying case and two landing-gear pieces. A pair of 2110s propellers, four spare gimbal dampers, rubber port covers, screws, tools and cleaning tools are also included.
The BS65 can charge two TB65 batteries and one WB37 battery simultaneously, helping the team prepare the next flight while other batteries remain stored in the station.
A1: The UA50 is aimed at large farms, plantations, professional spraying businesses, fleet operators and institutional buyers that can support a 50L-class aircraft with trained pilots, field power, transport, refilling and spare parts.
A2: The aircraft has a 50L liquid spray tank and an 80L-volume solid spreader. Confirm which payload system and accessories are included in the selected package.
A3: No. Eighty liters is container volume; the published internal solid load is 50kg. Safe loading depends on material density and flow, so weigh the payload and stay within all aircraft and spreader limits.
A4: No. The listed 105kg figure is maximum takeoff weight, not useful payload. Do not confuse aircraft operating weight with the 50L liquid tank or the spreader's 50kg internal solid-load specification.
A5: The published effective spray width is 8–10m. Final route spacing must be calibrated for altitude, droplet setting, speed, wind, crop canopy and the required deposition pattern.
A6: The listed atomized particle range is 130–250μm. Select and verify the setting against the chemical label, canopy target, weather and drift requirements; one droplet size is not correct for every application.
A7: The published spread width is 3–10m for compatible materials with a listed diameter of 0.5–5mm. Density, moisture, shape and flowability must be tested and the output calibrated before field use.
A8: It depends on application rate, route speed, effective width, turns, refill location, battery turnaround, wind and obstacles. Provide field maps and liters per hectare so capacity can be modeled; do not rely on a universal maximum.
A9: The current specification lists an 18S 30Ah intelligent flight battery. Only use the approved battery, connector and charging system, and confirm the exact supplied model in the final quotation.
A10: The product specification lists about nine minutes from 20% to 95% under compatible conditions. Actual time varies with power, temperature, cooling, battery health and charger limits; operational planning must also include inspection and reserve batteries.
A11: Size the power system from the number of aircraft, battery rotation and simultaneous charging demand. The product lists compatible high-power supply and generator options, but grounding, ventilation, fuel, cable rating and local electrical rules must be engineered for the site.
A12: There is no fixed number for every operation. Calculate flight and refill cycle times, charger throughput, battery cooling, peak daily area and contingency capacity; high-utilization contractors normally prioritize continuous rotation and a serviceable reserve.
A13: RTK is shown as an option. Confirm whether the aircraft quote includes RTK hardware and which correction service or base station will be used in the destination country.
A14: No. The 3km figure is an unobstructed communication specification for the H12 controller. Aviation rules, visual-line-of-sight limits, terrain, interference and antenna placement determine what is legal and practical.
A15: The aircraft includes front and rear obstacle-avoidance radar and terrain-following capability, which can support complex farms. A trained operator must still survey wires, trees, ridges and abrupt height changes and set conservative routes.
A16: No universal approval should be assumed. Check that the label permits the intended aerial or drone application, then verify viscosity, corrosion, filtration, dose, droplet target and cleaning procedure.
A17: Plan for the folded aircraft, payload system, batteries, charger or generator, clean water, mixing equipment, PPE, tools, spare parts and secure chemical transport. Crew roles should cover pilot, refilling, battery handling, safety and maintenance as local rules require.
A18: Do not assume a drone this size can operate under ordinary Part 107 rules. The UA50's listed maximum takeoff weight is well above 55lb; current FAA guidance places agricultural operations at this weight under Parts 91 and 137, with registration, exemptions and an Agricultural Aircraft Operator Certificate, while state pesticide rules can also apply. Verify the current route before purchase or operation.
A19: Request an institutional quotation covering aircraft configuration, payloads, batteries, charging, training, commissioning, documentation, warranty, spares and delivery milestones. Dealer, tender and volume terms require project review.
A20: A professional handover should cover assembly, preflight inspection, route planning, calibration, payload handling, battery and generator safety, emergency procedures, cleaning and routine maintenance. Local certified pilot or pesticide training may be additional.
A21: Agree on warranty handling, remote diagnostics, repair authority, parts lead times and a stocked field kit before the season. Keep inspection records and identify critical items such as propellers, pump and flow components, nozzles, seals, arms, landing parts and connectors.
A22: Choose the UA30 when its 30L liquid capacity meets the workload and easier transport, lower ground burden or local weight rules matter more. Choose the UA50 when higher volume reduces costly refill cycles and the operation can support its larger logistics footprint.
A23: It may fit high-volume programs, but the tender should assess local legal eligibility, operator training, field power, transport, chemicals handling, spare parts, service coverage and post-project ownership. Request a project-specific compliance and delivery document set rather than relying on the retail page alone.
A24: Use realistic paid hectares per season, application rates, service pricing, utilization, weather downtime, crew, transport, energy, insurance, maintenance, battery replacement and residual value. A large tank alone does not prove repayment capacity.
A25: Insurers may request aircraft and pilot records, approved operating scope, mission logs, maintenance history, battery controls, secure transport and incident procedures. Confirm coverage for chemical application, third-party liability, equipment damage, theft and business interruption with the insurer.
